ZIFA President Mr. Nqobile Magwizi launched the “Roots & Dreams” initiative in London, aiming to strengthen ties with the Zimbabwean diaspora while promoting the future of Zimbabwean football.
Accompanied by Warriors Head Coach Mr. Michael Nees, Magwizi emphasized the initiative’s dual focus on heritage (Roots) and ambition (Dreams), aiming to create pathways for young Zimbabweans to realize their football aspirations and represent the nation.
The launch event fostered meaningful dialogue between ZIFA leadership and the diaspora, highlighting shared enthusiasm for Zimbabwean football and a mutual commitment to the sport’s growth and success on the global stage.
The next phase of the diaspora engagement is scheduled for Birmingham, where ZIFA anticipates further productive discussions with Zimbabweans in the UK.
