Zimbabwean UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo has gained widespread admiration from his fellow countrymen after being invited to a dinner with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

On Facebook, Gorimbo shared a photo of himself with President Ramaphosa, who proudly held up his championship belt.
Recounting the experience, Gorimbo expressed his gratitude, writing, ‘A Zimbabwean has been recognized in a foreign land. I was humbled to be invited to dinner with the President. I even got to mingle in Xhosa with President Matamela at the table. It’s truly a blessing.’
