Prophet Magaya has unveiled an ambitious plan to renovate Chahwanda Stadium to meet the standards set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
According to Prophet Magaya, the renovation work is expected to be completed within a record 35 day.
Initially, the project was scheduled to be completed by March, but the doubling of the work scope has caused a delay in the construction timeline.
Despite the setback, Prophet Magaya expressed confidence that the stadium will be ready for use within the next 35 days.
Speaking to the press, Prophet Magaya said, “In 35 days from now, our prayer is that the Minister will invite His Excellence to come and cut the ribbon, according to his schedule.”
The renovation of Chahwanda Stadium is a significant development for the local football community, as it will provide a state-of-the-art facility that meets international standards.
