1. Zimra paid $209 million for 85 vehicles and only received 15 Toyota Hilux vehicles. The supplier, Mike Harris cited the weak exchange rate in Zimbabwe dollar for failing to supply the vehicles. Zimra currently has 134 old vehicles ( More than 10 years old), of which 44 are non runners.
2. Concourt finds dismissal of Justice Ndewere was above board. Ndewere was removed from the bench by Mnangagwa in June 2021 after recommendations by a tribunal. The case was lost on a technicality. 1. The USA has blacklisted three South African companies for training Chinese pilots on how NATO systems operates. The three companies based in Mossel Bay are linked to the TFSA and have been under federal investigation. The three companies can no longer import or export from the USA. The companies are Ascenso Aviation, Blue Sky Aviation and Wingman concept. The three companies are also being investigated in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
2. Chief Chikazamunyama ( Webby Chikaza) has assaulted a 38 year old messenger of court , Garry Hamusonde, after he failed to appear in court at Lubanda palace. An assault case has been opened against the chief although he was not arrested. The chief tore the messenger’s shirt, slapped him and warned him not to set foot at the palace again.
