ZIFA president Nqobile Magwizi has expressed admiration for Prophet Walter Magaya’s contribution to Zimbabwean football, specifically his efforts in constructing the Chahwanda Stadium (Heart Main Arena) in Kwekwe.
This stadium, built in collaboration with gold mogul Shepherd Chahwanda, is slated to become the home ground of Hard Rock Football Club.
During a visit to the stadium on Wednesday, Magwizi was impressed by the progress and noted that this facility marks the second stadium constructed in Zimbabwe since the country gained independence in 1980.
Magwizi praised Magaya’s initiatives, stating, “This is impressive, considering it’s the second stadium built in Zimbabwe after independence.”
