Deputy Minister of Transport and infrastructure development Hon. J.K. Sacco announced that Zimbabwe allows testing for both manual and automatic driver’s license.
Addressing the August House Honorable Sacco shared an overview on license framework and future developments.
He stated that currently the law provides testing for both manual and automatic vehicles.
” the applicant who passes road testing using a manual vehicle can drive both manual and automatic vehicles, however an applicant who passes road test using automatic vehicles is restricted to driving automatic vehicles only and their license are endorsed ‘Automatic Vehicle ‘,”he said.
These news brought about excitement with some asking when will the law be applicable to VID.
