Mabvuku legislature Scott Sakupwanya, has made a passionate plea to fans to separate politics from the beautiful game of soccer.
According to Sakupwanya, his team is suffering as a result of his affiliation with the ruling Zanu-PF party.
Sakupwanya expressed his frustration, stating that even when his team performs well on the pitch, they are met with opposition and hate from fans who are motivated by politics rather than a love of the game.
He emphasized that the negative sentiment should be directed towards him personally, rather than his team.
“stop mixing football and politics, ” he said.
