Unmasking the fraud, Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) is said to have previously hired Nanette Silikhuni who possess a phony PHD.
Currently working as a senior director at the Ministry of Information, Silikhuni reportedly lacks a legitimate PhD.
According to WeDugUp, her CV states that she studied at Hong Kong University, which does not exist.
Silikhuni also asserts that she obtained a doctorate from Aldersgate, a university with a questionable reputation.
Her current role encompasses strategic planning and monitoring at the Ministry of Information, yet the circumstances of her appointment have raised concerns, as she did not go through the standard hiring procedure.
According to sources from the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Silikhuni arrived one day, parked her car, and stated she had come to work. The details regarding her hiring process remain opaque, with no formal job posting or vacancy existing before her arrival.
Ironically, from 2017 to 2021, Silikhuni is said to have been in charge of ZACC’s strategic planning, a role that would have involved addressing corruption within the organization itself.
