The Government of Zimbabwe has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing gender-based violence (GBV) as a key priority, as highlighted by Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Hon. Monica Mutsvangwa.

Speaking at a recent event organized by the Women’s Academy for Leadership, Minister Mutsvangwa emphasized the importance of collaboration with development partners in tackling this pressing issue.

“Issues of GBV are a top priority for the Government of Zimbabwe. We are pleased to receive strong support from our development partners,” Mutsvangwa stated. She underscored the need for collective action, including the involvement of men and boys in the fight against GBV, advocating for a more inclusive approach to prevention and response efforts.
