The Kenyan government has announced that it will allow all African citizens to visit the country visa-free for two months, excluding citizens from Libya and Somalia due to ongoing security concerns.

The announcement was made during a cabinet meeting, which emphasized the importance of enhancing Kenya’s appeal as a travel destination for African nationals.

This initiative is expected to boost tourism and strengthen economic ties within the continent.

In addition to the visa exemption, the government plans to implement an expedited Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) process, allowing for instant approvals.

This streamlined procedure is designed to make travel to Kenya more accessible and efficient for visitors from across Africa.
