Nelson Chamisa, has voiced strong opposition to any proposals aimed at extending the term of office for government officials.
In a recent tweet, Chamisa outlined his concerns, emphasizing that such moves would only exacerbate existing crises facing the nation.
Chamisa expressed that extending terms would neglect pressing issues currently affecting the country, including extreme poverty, unemployment, and escalating shortages of basic necessities like food, water, and electricity. He articulated that the government should focus on resolving these crises rather than extending its own tenure.
“STOP THIS NONSENSE!!” Chamisa stated emphatically, urging the government to prioritize the pain and suffering of citizens over political maneuvering.
He highlighted that the current administration has failed to address fundamental issues, leading to heightened social unrest and economic instability.
