Zimbabwe’s Defense Minister to Represent Mnangagwa at Mozambique Inauguration
Zimbabwe’s Defense Minister, Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, is set to represent President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the inauguration of Mozambique’s President-elect, Daniel Chapo, this Wednesday.
In a statement released by the ruling ZANU-PF party, it was emphasized that Muchinguri-Kashiri’s presence at the inauguration reflects Zimbabwe’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations with Mozambique.
The two nations share deep historical ties, and the event is viewed as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration in various sectors, including security, trade, and infrastructure development.
Chapo is set to be sworn in today amid simmering violence.
