Benjani Mwaruwari is contesting with ZIFA decision to exclude him from the finalist candidate for next year Presidency.
According to the letter addressed to the Chairman of ZIFA normalisation committee, Mr Lincoln Mutasa.
The former warrior and international football player outlined that he believed he was eligible to be a candidate as he meets every criteria stipulated in the ZIFA statutes of 2024.
The letter emphasized that Benjani is still to be notified on why he was excluded from the candidate list as he feel eligible.
His legal team have requested for an urgent response detailing the reason for their decision.
Mwaruwari is said to be unable to make an appeal at the court of arbitration for sports (CAF) as decision for his exclusion from the finalist is unknown.
