Old Mutual senior manager Musa Nyasha Dube Manyika has been arrested for allegedly raping a 23 year old intern twice without protection.
Musa is said to have threatened the 23year old that he will withdraw her scholarship leading her to comply.
The 23year old is said to be in his 3rd year at UZ and he was introduced to Manyika in November when she started her first year under the Old Mutual scholarship.
Manyika is said to have taken advantage that he was in the scholarship committee, he called her over in pretence of her helping out load banners.
He then forced himself on her by pushing her to the wall, then the table and molesting her.
He raped her without any protection. He then gave her a branded old Mutual bag, cap and a juice bottle then threatened her that if she shared this with anyone, he was going to withdraw the scholarship.
The second incident took place this year in June 19 where he invited her into his car. This happened at Ashbrittle shops according to the complainant.
He then engaged with her without her consent and protection.
Manyika has appeared before the Harare Court Magistrate and was granted free bail.
