The Zimbabwean president Emmerson Mnangagwa has send a congratulatory message to the Namibian ruling party for winning the elections.
Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah became Namibian 5th President and second female president in Africa.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa expressed that as she takes on the role of presidency the Zimbabwean government will support her and also hope to broaden the relationship between the two countries.
Namibian elections however have been called a scam with the opposition party adamant about accepting the poll results.
This comes after the election was held under some unfavorable circumstances with ballot papers lacking, machines malfunctioning and shortage of polling stations which led elections concluding on Saturday in some parts.
