The Office of the President and Cabinet has expressed very deep concern about a story in today’s News Day titled “Mnangagwa turns to parallel structures”.
In a statement, George Charamba said Newsday should retract the story within seven days citing that it is false.
The article alleges that Mnangagwa is working on extending his term beyond constitutional limits, employing unconventional methods and parallel structures outside ZANU-PF’s established arms.
Charamba said it was calculated to undermine national cohesion and place President ED Mnangagwa into dis-esteem.
