Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been fired following a string of bad results in the team’s matches.

Hag took to social media to announce that he is moving on from the team after serving for two and a half years.

He said:

Dear Manchester United fans,

As I step away from my role, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support throughout my time at this incredible club. The passion and dedication you bring to every match have inspired me every day. Together, we celebrated triumphs and faced challenges, but your loyalty never wavered.

Though I am moving on, Manchester United will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish you all the best for the future and will forever be a Red Devil.

Thank you for everything.

With warm regards,
Erik ten Hag
