Zimbabwe singer and ‘Superstar’ hit maker Delroy Shewe opened up in an interview with Noma on Dj Ollah7 podcast that he never got any cent from the music video that made 4.7million views.
He said if he could get some of the royalties from the video it will go a long way in assisting his ailing son and his wife.
He said he has been quiet considering his relationship with Mr Mutarisi but it pains him that his song made such money but didn’t receive any cent.
“Zvinorwadza I won’t lie, to know I have such but I don’t even have a cent…” he said.
Shewe’s song ‘Superstar’ was a hit with 4.7 million views.
He hopes that one day Mr Mutarisi will reconsider and call him to come and collect his royalties.
