Popular Zimbabwean socialite, Tariro Machokoto has broken down the cost of living in Zimbabwe. most goods in Zimbabwe are in USD as the local ZIG currency has totally lost value.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, Tariro said the most expensive bill for most is housing. A basic 2 bedroomed flat or cottage costs between USD 200 to USD 500

Most young people would like to live alone in the more affluent suburbs and this often require them to share with another person.

When it comes to transport, there are Indrive, Bolt and Jango which costs around USD5 for a distance of 10km.

For healthcare, Tariro says basic consultation is around $10 to USD100 depending on the health issue. Government hospitals do not charge for consultation.

if you have your own car, fuel ranges from 1.38

For schools, they cost between $200 and $500 per term.
