Former United States President Barack Obama’s half sister Auma, has been teargassed by police during an interview with CNN live on air, while protesting Kenya’s controversial finance bill.
Five people are reportedly dead while several others where injure as thousands of youths stormed the parliament.
Kenya is in the grip of nationwide protests against proposed tax hikes, culminating in a planned “total shutdown” of the country.
Parliament approved the finance bill which aims to raise an additional $2.7 billion in taxes.
