ZANU PF’s Women’s League has passed a resolution for President Mnangagwa to remain in office beyond 2030, sparking outrage among war veterans.
According to a published news article, Mnangagwa reportedly welcomed the move, saying he will rely on the women’s and youth leagues even if war veterans disapprove.
The decision was made while Vice President Chiwenga was absent, allegedly to prevent him from intervening.
War veterans are said to be furious, while Chiwenga has remained silent on the matter.
Meanwhile, businessman Wicknell Chivayo is rumored to be planning to curry favor with the women’s league leaders by buying them cars.
