Prominent Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono attended the Zimpraise live concert in Johannesburg, South Afica, yesterday.
Taking to social media, Chin’ono said he had an amazing evening watching Zimpraise live in SA.
The concert was sponsored by Zimbabwe’s leading financial and funeral services company, Nyaradzo, in Johannesburg.
“I am grateful to the owner of Nyaradzo, Philip Mataranyika, for inviting me to watch these great Zimbabwean musicians and for the wonderful hospitality. It was my first time watching Zimpraise in concert. I look forward to watching them again in London at Zimfest, they are excellent!”, said Hopewell.
Hundreds of Zimbabweans braced the cold weather in support of the musical group.
“It is also great to see so many Zimbabweans coming together to support Zimbabwean music.
It was great seeing old and new friends.”
