WATCH LIVE as Gambakwe looks at the backlash against Mnangagwa over his comments on Zambia. Speaking exclusively to Gambakwe Media, local regional high level sources revelaed that Mnangagwa is now being seen as a problem in the region especially given that he is liely to assume the chaairmanship of SADC.
The sources revealed that Mnangagwa’s sentiments on Zambia were received with anger by Presidents in the regional bloc, in which Zambia is currently chairman. Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema, has worked well with other SADC countries, and has produced balanced SEOM reports in the missions that have been led by former top Zambian leaders in countries such as South Africa, Lesotho and Madagascar.
It is said that Mnangagwa is frustrated after Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema refused to reverse the current SEOM report which found that the Zimbabwean elections, which were held in August 2023 were rigged and did not meet regional standards.
