Members of the United Methodist Church in Zimbabwe held placards denouncing same-sex relations in Harare yesterday.
The protest comes barely a month after the United Methodist Church Worldwide General Conference held in the U.S. state of North Carolina repealed its age-long ban on LGBTQ+ clergy.
Zimbabwe UMC leadership says it will not accept same-sex marriages, indicating that it will not preside over such unions.
