The vice president of Zimbabwe, (Rtd) General Dr Constantino Chiwenga today officially launched Zimbabwe’s first National Forest Policy.
It is said that the National Forest Policy is mandated at creating an enabling environment for effective stakeholder participation in sustainable forestry management in Zimbabwe.
According to reports the process of this policy started in 2014 and was officially launched today at the Human Wildlife Conflict Relief Fund Indaba hosted by the Ministry of Environment Climate and Wildlife in the 64th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
