Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has praised Shadaya Tawona for refusing to accept a free car from Wicknell Chivayo.
Shadaya said he is content with what he has adding that the funds should be channeled towards improving livelihood of many not just an individual.
Taking to Facebook, Hopewell said Shadaya has set a very good example for declining a gift from a convicted criminal.
“Well done to Shadaya 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 It was embarrassing to watch old men and women grovelling before a convicted criminal for a car.
Shadaya has set a very good example by refusing to accept a free car and also reminding his followers that any well meant gift should go towards societal problems like healthcare! Well done once more young man👏🏿👏🏿”, he wrote.
