Prominent Zimbabwean socialite, Shamiso Fred, appeared in the Harare magistrates court this week facing USD 196 000 fraud charges.
She was dragged to court by 16 members of her eggs and diary crowdfunding initiative who claim that they have not received the promised returns after they invested in her business ventures.
Shamiso is well known for founding the African Business Women Association (ABWA).
