President Emmerson Mnangagwa has welcomed the election result after being re-elected for his second term in office.
Mnangagwa said he is deeply humbled by the overwhelming support he received from Zimbabweans.
“This victory is statement to the power of unity and progress. Together, we will continue building a brighter future for Zimbabwe”, he said.
Mnangagwa won 52.6% of the vote while Nelson Chamisa, won 44% of the vote
