Government has instituted measures that will result in the cancellation of the trading licenses of 17 pharmacies that were using parallel market exchange rates.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development said ongoing investigations by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) have revealed that some pharmacies black market rates ranging from between ZWL$8 500 to ZWL$11 000 against the USD.
