Zimbabwean footballer Marvellous Nakamba met Celebration Church founder and senior pastor Tom Deuschle in Harare yesterday.
Nakamba visited Celebration Church in Borrowdale, where he met Pastor Deuschle and had a quick catch up over coffee.
The man of God took to Twitter to describe Nakamba as a human being with humility and good nature.
“His humility and good nature struck me and I believe that the season has come for him to transition from popularity to influence with his God-given gift as a soccer player, but more importantly, the phenomenal work he’s doing with some of our less privileged communities”, said pastor Tom.
Nakamba is currently in the country for his off-season break.
