Former Minister for Finance Simba Makoni has revealed that Tendai Biti’s split from CCC leader Nelson Chamisa is imminent as rifts continue to widen.
Chamisa is said to have been trying to offer Biti the Senate position which the latter reportedly refused.
Writing on Twitter, Makoni said the worst thing that Chamisa was supposed to avoid is to let Biti out.
He said the West favour Biti more than Chamisa thus letting Biti go is a major blow to Chamisa’s relationship with the Whites.
“Split is imminent”, said Simba.
