BRICS Ministers held talks in Cape Town ahead of the visit by Russian President, Vladimir Putin, to South Africa in August.
BRICS will be holding the heads of state summit in August. The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against Putin, which South Africa has vowed to disregard.
China’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, MA Zhaoxu, Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov and South African Minister of Foreign Affairs, Naledi Pandor were among the ministers that posed for photos during the meeting.
