Twitter CEO Elon Musk has removed blue verified badges from profiles not subscribed to Twitter Blue subscription.
Musk announced that Twitter users who got verified way before he took over will lose the coveted blue tick if they do not pay before April 20.
Individual users of twitter must buy a $8 monthly subscription to keep their blue verification checkmarks on the platform.
Meanwhile, a number of Zimbabwean public figures have also lost their Twitter blue verification badges.
