Newly appointed Dynamos FC assistant coach ,Murape Murape (Monya), has shocked Zimbabweans after quiting Real Betis Academy to rejoin Dynamos.
At Real Betis, Murape, popularly known as Monya had a salary of $2500 per month as head coach. At Dynamos, as assistant coach Murape’salary is USD344 which will come in local currency at the prevailing interbank rate.
Murape defended the move to rejoin Dembare saying “It’s my life, I always want to be myself, my name is Murape Murape and I need to be my own self”.
Real Betis have replace Murape with another former Dembare player and raised the salary to usd $3000 per month.
After notifying the club of his decision to leave, Real Betis reportedly offered Murape isd $3500 per month but he still refused to stay.
