Popular Zimbabwean socialite, Mike Tashaya, has shared pictures of his meeting with prominent lawyer and CCC spokeswoman, Fadzayi Mahere in London.
Fadzayi is in London after her fallout with CCC President, Nelson Chamisa over the Vice President position.
Chamisa has refused to appoint Mahere as VP of the new party, choosing to keep everyone guessing instead.
Tashaya wrote on Facebook:
It really was wonderful to do a meet up for breakfast and catch up with my old friend Fadzayi Mahere recently like we always do every so often when our stars align.
I’ve probably used up all the superlatives on her over the years to tell you guys my thoughts on her, but this again is a brief appreciation post as I am always grateful when she does make the time for me.
Most times I get told off for it by both her and her biggest fans so won’t say much this time around but as always we had illuminating conversations on our lives, careers, health, fitness, food, Zimbabwe, Gokwe, shopping, bucketlists, football and my passion of participating in the future of out country, subjects that are very close to our hearts.
Its always great of course to always surround ourselves with people who add value to our lives and make that a mutual value addition as we all need each other at the best of times as humans. Iron sharpens iron as they say.
I know I have said it before but I have no doubt that she will lead Zimbabwe one day (no pressure).
I’m glad she is doing really well in both her political and legal paths and continues to learn and grow and inspire many out there. #AnAudienceWith beckons soon for sure.
Wishing her well in the very extreme sports of the campaign trail and general election to follow over the next 12 months….
