Nehanda Radio reports that High Court judge Justice Joseph Mafusire has dismissed an application by Petina Gappah seeking further particulars in her defamation case by Fadzai Mahere.
Mahere is suing Gappah US$1 million for defamation of character.
She accuses Gappah of publishing a series of tweets on her handle @VascoDaGappah accusing her of corruptly enrolling at the University of Zimbabwe and the Cambridge University and also attempting to seduce Gappah’s boyfriend at some point.
Gappah however, filed a High Court application seeking some documents.
Gappah also wants communication on the same platform in which Mahere allegedly asked intrusive questions about the status of her relationship with her son’s father.
