Award-winning investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono is in France after attending the 2022 Geneva summit.
Writing on Facebook, Hopewell said it took him 43 seconds to cross over from Switzerland into France.
“No passport needed. Yet in South Africa, they are killing fellow Africans on the basis of Berlin borders drawn in Europe in 1887.”
He added that Africa lacks selfless and competent leaders who think about advancing the continent for future generations.
“They only think of LOOTING!”, he wrote.
Chin’ono’s friend nes Kanter Freedom received the 2022 Geneva summit Courage Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution in defence of human rights.
