WATCH as Drewmas Media looks at the strange case of a Mutoko man who died this week and opened his eyes when his mother spoke to him during body viewing.
The community is divided between those who witnessed the strange events and those who heard about it.
Two women who went to the body viewing said the man died after consuming excersive amounts of alcohol.
When he died, he was taken to the local mortuary where his body was prepared.
When his uncles checked his body, they found that he had changed positions.
This caused commotion in the community and hordes of onlookers rushed to the homestead.
A doctor was eventually called who declared that the 40 year old man was really dead.
Members of the community told Drewmas Media that the man’s skin looked ordinary and there are rumors that there were knocking sounds coming from the coffin before he was buried.
It was also revealed that a vicious argument broke out among family members, with some saying he must be buried on the next day, however, those who said he must be buried immediately prevailed.
The strange case happened in the red bricks area of Mutoko.
