Nine heavily armed South Africans were killed in a shootout with police in Gaborone, Botswana.
The shootout happened at a house in Phase 2, Gaborone.
An unidentified Motswana woman was removed from the house, who some sources identified as a Sangoma who was working with the robbers.
Botswana Police service confirmed the deaths after a stand-off that lasted over 4 hours.
Police said 11 men robbed a cash in transit van of P960 000 at Main Mall, after which security services responded resulting in a battle like exchange of gun fire at the house in Phase 2, Gaborone.
