Bulawayo Senator, Khaliphani Phugeni, who was recently suspended from the MDC-T, has revealed that he could join the CCC after the 31 March by-elections if he is asked.

Speaking to popular journalist, Ezra Tshisa Sibanda, Phugeni said he is aware that the CCC is still setting up their structures and he would make a decision as soon as the new party has been set up.
Phugeni said the formation of CCC is a good thing as it removes the confusion that came with MDC parties with prefixes.
MDC-T spokesman, Witness Dube, told Gambakwe that Phugeni is suspended from the MDC-T.
Gambakwe Media first reported in December that former Vice President, Thokozani Khupe, and Phugeni, were facing suspension over secret meetings with Nelson Chamisa.
