Jonas said Zimbabwe and South Africa’s economies and societies are intertwined and can not be artificially separated.
He said the current operations to arrest and deport Zimbabweans is a futile exercise as it will only increase the number of Zimbabweans that will live in SA illegally.
Jonas said there is no crisis in Zimbabwe as migration is taking place in all countries across the world.
