A senior ZANU-PF official, Mabutho Moyo, has revealed that Nelson Chamisa is aware that he has already lost the 2023 elections.

Speaking during a ZANU-PF South Africa, Johannesburg branch meeting, Moyo said Chamisa can only be a resident and not a President of Zimbabwe.

Moyo said ZANU-PF is now looking to the 2028 elections as the 2023 elections are done and dusted.

Moyo said:

The message that I carry is simply, President Mnangagwa is in charge. 2023 is done and dusted.

We are now looking to 2028. In 2023, we are looking at winning with 5 million votes.
