Popular South African Zimbabwe religious leader, Bishop Joshua Maponga, has lost his defamation court case against religious activist Solomon Izang Ashoms in the Johannesburg High Court today.
Judge Wepener dismissed the court case after reading the papers. The judgement was delivered on the 15th of April.
Writing on Facebook, Ashoms said:
BISHOP JOSHUA MAPONGA LOST R5M COURT CASE AGAINST ME?
Please help me ask Maponga why his R5m defamation of character court case against me was struck off the roll at the High Court in Johannesburg. We need him to explain why.
He claimed I accused him wrongly when I insisted he has a girlfriend. Now the girlfriend has come out to even reveal that Maponga got her pregnant.
