The President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to receive his first jab of Sinovac Covid vaccine on Wednesday, 24 March in Victoria Falls.
The second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination programme will be officially launched by the president on the same day.
Mnangagwa will be accompanied by Leaders of Political Parties in Zimbabwe who will also receive their first Jab at the same occasion.
At that high profile event, the government will also commence an embracing Covid-19 Vaccination rollout campaign which will afford all residents of Victoria Falls to get vaccinated.
The government is targeting to vaccinate 60 percent of the population in order to achieve herd immunity.
