Shephered Bushiri and Mary Bushiri’s extradition was held at a court in Malawi today.

The hearing started at about 13: 30 today with the defence fighting for the recusal of Patrick who is the magistrate presiding over this particular case.

Meanwhile, the magistrate says that there isn’t sufficient evidence of sufficient grounds to actually recuse himself so he will then be staying put on this particular case.

Last week, Bushiri’s lawyers said that the magistrate needs to recuse himself, because he’s the one that actually issued a warrant of arrest.

The self proclaimed leader fled South Africa last year and in his first interview in Malawi he revealed that he was not safe in prison.

He revealed that several attempts were made to kill him.
