After the Daily news today reported that Chamisa’s deputy national chairperson, Job Sikhala, has called for dialogue with ED Mnangagwa, Gambakwe media talked to Albert Matapo of the Zimbabwe People Power Movement to get his reaction.

The paper quoted Sikhala as saying, the suffering of Zimbabweans demanded a change of tack, including necessary national talks with ED Mnangagwa.

Sikhala told the newspaper that its becoming increasingly difficult to maintain a position  of not engaging Mnangagwa.

Matapo says he agreed with Sikhala that Zimbabweans have suffered for long and they need a solution. However, Matapo says he disagrees with a dialogue with Mnangagwa.

Matapo says Mnangagwa has been stealing elections together with Mugabe and it does not make sense to have dialogue with such a person. Matapo said if Sikhala called for dialogue with Mnangagwa, it means he has ran out of ideas.

Matapo said ZANU-PF has alread advised Zimbabweans that they will not be removed by a pen and the only way to remove them is through people power.

However, Matapo said ZPPM will not use force to remove Mnangagwa. He said Zimbabweans should work together to take power from ZANU-PF and then they can think of elections.

Matapo said change in Zimbabwe needs all Zimbabweans to speak up and raise theor voices.

Matapo said the ZPPM have not submitted the petition to the United Nations. He said the submission will be done at some point. He revealed that they are running out of resources to maneuver as fast as they would want.
