The first free buses hired by businessman Justice Maphosa to transport 400 Zimbabweans stuck in South Africa.
One of the buses left from the Zimbabwe Consulate in Johannesburg, while another left from Pretoria.
Gambakwe Media observed the first bus at the consulate in Johannesburg , where at least 6 South African Police Service cars were parked behind the buses.
The Zimbabwe Embassy in South Africa partnered with Mr Justice Maphosa, CEO and founder of Bigtime Strategic Group to. Provide free transport to Zimbabweans who can not afford to travel back home.
This comes after the embassy received distressful calls from Zimbabwean nationals in South Africa facing numerous challenges.
Moreover the embassy has sought travel permits for people in need of repatriation using own transport.
