Opposition MDC Member of Parliament for Marondera Central Caston Matewu was involved in a tragic accident after gunshots were fired towards his car on Friday.
Matewu was coming from a COVID-19 taskforce meeting.
According to Zimeye Matewu has 2 broken ribs on the left, George, a broken arm and Mazambani Matewu’s manager has suffered 3 broken ribs.
This comes after Matewu recently joined First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa to hand over a donation to needy communities in Mahusekwa.
Matewu sustained injuries but he is in a stable condition.
