FORMER Mayor of Harare Bernard (Ben) Manyenyeni has called upon MDC Alliance Ieader Nelson Chamisa to talk to Thokozani Khupe to solve their political differences.

Posting on facebook, Manyenyeni said Chamisa should talk to Khupe for the way forward.

“When you are popular but irregular find a formula, Talk to Thoko”, he saidManyenyeni said sooner than later Chamisa has to open up on the matter with a well thought position.

This comes amid the supreme court’s judgement that Khupe is the legitimate leader of MDC hence an extraordinary congress to be held within 90 days as from the day the judgement was announced.

Manyenyeni is a Zimbabwean business executive, politician and MDC-T member.

As a businessman, his career spans over 25 years in the financial services sector, largely managing group pension funds.

In 2013 he was the councillor for Ward 17, Mount Pleasant. In September 2013 he was elected Mayor of Harare for a 5-year term beating Zanu-PF’s Musatye Gwasira by a margin of 31 votes. He succeeded Muchadeyi Masunda.

He was the Mayor of Harare from 2013 to 2018. Manyenyeni was succeeded by Herbert Gomba in 2018.
