Zimbabwe People Power Movement Leader, Albert Matapo has blamed Southern African Leaders for failing to talk among themselves to synchronize lockdowns in the region.

Matapo said South Africa is likely to keep their boarders With Zimbabwe and Mozambique closed for incoming traffic until the lockdowns in those countries are over.

On Soldiers, Matapo said he liked the model being used in Namibia where soldiers are being used for disaster recovery purposes and not for security and control.

Matapo said he is reliably informed that Swaziland has a lockdown, although other countries such as Lesotho have not widely publicized their initiatives.

Matapo said soldiers need protective clothing as they can end up spreading the disease and lockdowns could extend for more than 21 days if they are not well executed.
